How CoolSculpt works

Your treatment specialist will place a device that resembles a large remote control on the targeted area of your body. Fat bulges are then lifted between two cooling panels where the fat cells beneath the skin are frozen and effectively killed.
It’s a gentle and safe procedure during which you’ll feel some pressure and a pulling sensation as the cooling process takes place. You might compare it to putting a vacuum cleaner hose against your skin, only the CoolSculpt process isn’t quite so dramatic.
As to side effects, they are few and go away quickly. It’s common to experience some redness in the treated area(s) and maybe some minor bruising and numbness. None of this, however, should keep you from getting on with your usual activities when the treatment is finished.
