BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX, or botulinum toxin, is a protein used in general medicine, cosmetic applications, and research. Often used to treat chronic migraines, upper motor neuron syndrome, focal hyperhidrosis and other conditions, it is also FDA-approved to cosmetically create a more vibrant, youthful complexion. BOTOX eases the appearance of crow’s feet, vertical frown lines, and horizontal forehead creases by temporarily disrupting the nerve signal that tells the muscles to contract.
Dysport®
A popular alternative to BOTOX, Dysport has a thinner formula that spreads more quickly and takes effect faster. Like BOTOX, it targets and relaxes the muscles related to expression lines, while preserving your normal facial expressions. Dysport is usually less expensive per unit than BOTOX, but you’ll typically need 3x as much product to achieve the same effect.
DAXXIFY®
DAXXIFY is another effective BOTOX alternative that is approved for use for vertical frown lines (popularly called the 11s). This neuromodulator does not use human or animal proteins, making it a “vegan” alternative to similar products. DAXXIFY is also unique for its longevity, with evidence to suggest that it can last 2 to 3 times longer than BOTOX.

While the above neuromodulators target dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions, dermal fillers treat static wrinkles and hollows and depressions in the skin. These treatments restore volume by adding a substance (such as hyaluronic acid) beneath the skin for a smoother, plumper, and more vibrant appearance.
